Hello, Mokko's price list is as follows: Accommodation breakfast sauna use = 25 EUR / person. The price of the dinner they provide = 10 EUR / person. Do we order food from them or do we each bring our own food? In any case, Jõgevalt Catering can provide a decent banquet for 10 EUR / person: Steak from a selection: pork/chicken (natural or breaded), fish Salad: 2-3 selections from the assortment Cold table snacks: 6-8 snacks per person from a selection Kringel: raisin-apple pretzel with chocolate coating Fruit Coffee Juice Or we will ask everyone for 30 EUR right away and organize dinner ourselves for 5 EUR / person: We will buy potato salad, grilled sausage and juice from the store (for 5 EUR each person should get half a kilo of salad half a kilo of sausage). Those who are sure to come can express their opinion. Marten
I think buying it yourself would be a better idea, you can probably set up a grill there too, it would be more fun that way :)
I'd rather pay 35 and get a proper hot meal, so you don't have to do anything yourself, you just go and sit at the table :D that big salad and sausage haul is gone, and this meal still isn't what a nice steak is. Go figure, what's up with this weather...

if I'm a newcomer, I have no problem cooking, both salad and grill ;)
I would also prefer an option where you don't have to bring your own food. If you ordered a banquet from Jõgeva, it would probably cover both lunch and dinner.
However, we did not reach an agreement with Mokko. Now there are two options: 1) Do we find a new place 2) We do not find a new and suitable place, we cancel the summer days and hold the mentioned tournaments in Tartu. We turn to Vine.ee users again. Can anyone recommend a holiday home where we can hold the summer days? Requirements: 1) Accommodation for 20 people in rooms 2) A hall that can accommodate 25-30 people to play checkers 3) Privacy (in the forest by the lake rather than in the city) 4) Price: Without meals, you could manage 20 EUR / person (total 400 EUR), with meals 30 EUR / person (total 600 EUR)
Villa Cumulus, price 300 euros per night. http://www.villacumulus.ee/index.php?id=40
Has anyone been there? Can we fit 20 people in that seminar room to play checkers?
It seems we can't find a place. So we're skipping the summer days this year (That's totally okay because we already had one gathering this year - Vint.ee's 5th birthday).
I hope that EMHI doesn't announce in the spring that summer will be canceled in 2013.. Or Christmas.. What's even scarier - New Year's Eve!
