Interesting impressions and exciting reading :) Very good result! It also gives others motivation to try harder and get a little closer to your level!

Snyder did not participate because he wanted to do his best in logic and therefore decided that the best way to do that was to not participate in sudoku.

Good overview! :) And it's a shame that those 2 squares were left empty in the semi-finals, otherwise Jan Mrozowski might have done it in the last one and had a chance to get to the final. But 4th place is still very good (y) By the way, a Pole I worked with over the weekend already boasted that a Pole became the world champion! :D Of course I already knew. And one question. How exactly did they qualify for the World Championship? As I understand it, Jaan Laks and Allar Padari were able to participate because they were on the LoigikaMM team. But how did, for example, Margit Ool, who was at the 15th Estonian Championship (I was at the same table with her by the way ;), get it? And Triin Melnik was 8th, if I'm not mistaken. I understood that the first 4 get etc.

the second, third, fourth and sixth placers withdrew from the competition...and Margit Ool was in second place in the logic qualification in my opinion.

As far as I know, places in the Sudoku World Championship were offered up to 10th place. Since the team couldn't be made up, it was decided that Margit would come, who had a strong result in the first round of the Estonian team (probably among the top six) and just crashed in the sprint and fell to 15th place. In addition, there was the nuance that since she qualified for the Logic World Championship and with a very good result, it made sense to include her in the team. Since there wasn't much time left and she was coming anyway, it seemed like a sensible choice. I felt sorry for Mrozowski, that it happened that way. He's still a little nervous. On the other hand, it was good experience. He had more final experience than I did. Now I have a little too.

Oh well, so in addition to 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th, 7th Kristel Arnik, 9th Eve Jaanson and 10th Rauno Pärnits also withdrew -- so a total of 7 people from the top ten! 8o I don't think I would have given up on such an opportunity, but they had some reasons! :/ And Margit Ool was still tied for 8th-9th place in the first round, but still a good result of course.
