Mind Games Olympiad 2023/2024 - Overall Results

The twelfth season of the Mental Sports Olympiad has come to an end. This year, 1,183 students from 85 schools participated in the competition. This is almost 100 students more than last year! The most participants were from Pärnu Kuninga Tänava Primary School - 78!

Primary school results
There were a total of 466 participants in the elementary school, of which 75 students participated in all areas.

In the overall standings, Karl Samuel Leht from Tallinn Old Town Education College won, collecting 1,327 points and taking one victory in chess, Kaspar Kuusesaar from Nõo Basic School took second place with 1,278 points, and Frederik Kaldoja from Tallinn Science School took third place, collecting 1,218 points.

Tallinn Science School won the school category.

Elementary school results
562 students participated in the basic school, 98 of whom participated in all subjects.

Mikk Kaarel Õim from Tartu Central School repeated last year's victory with 1,384 points (second place in crosswords and chess), Henri Mugur from Tallinn Science School took second place with 1,259 points, and Susanna Kamarik from Tallinn 32nd Secondary School took third place with 1,199 points.
Tallinn Science School once again won in the school category.

High school results
A record 154 students participated in the high school level, 16 of them in all subjects.

First place was won by Illimar Kirss from Saaremaa Gymnasium, scoring 1,363 points.
Second place went to Oskar Treffner from Tallinn Science School with 1,296 points, and third place went to Kalev Orgse from Tallinn Old Town College of Education, collecting 1,289 points.
In the school category, Saaremaa Gymnasium won.

We would like to thank Ants Soosõrvu once again, who has been promoting this competition in schools for years and who helps with the delivery of prizes in Tallinn schools.

Named medals and trophies will be delivered to schools no later than May!

PS! Since the Mental Sports Olympiad has been organized for 12 years, we decided to take a look at the Most Active Participants in the Mental Sports Olympiad - and we have one great mental sports enthusiast who has participated in the Olympiad for all 12 years: Oliver Valk from Saaremaa Gymnasium! Great mental athletes need to be rewarded, and so we decided that we will start giving out special prizes (clothes with Vint.ee logos) to everyone who has been participating in the competitions for 12 years !
