The European Championships in rendju and gomoku were played in Karepa. Tunnet Taimla (golden) took 2nd place in rendju against strong competition. Unfortunately, the competition in gomoku was sparse, thanks to which Estonians Johann Lents (johann), Martin Hõbemägi (matu97) and Timo Ilu (allever) won the triple victory.
