posted by peeterarthur In the past, when I played chess on Yahoo, it was of course really cool because the buttons would change with the holidays (for example, scary Halloween buttons/beautiful Valentine's Day buttons) and...

What's wrong with you??
I like the B-variant of chess much more and everything would be fine if the figures had sharper lines. Right now, either from the reduction or the use of shadows, the contrast with the squares is quite blurry. It is possible that a slight lightening of the color of the brown chess square would also help. The problem is not a big one, but it would be worth technically checking how the solution is. For example, if the initial buttons are large and have been reduced (image file), then it would be worth remaking them separately and reducing them with the right image program and adding a small Unsharp Mask.
What is the purpose of the chess appearance bd? Anyone who uses this appearance bd at all, write to my mailbox and we'll talk.
Are you kidding me, I don't use Ad... it's an anti-human design.
And we have found a compromise where everyone can choose the better option of the two :)

But maybe it could be done so that the alternative b is immediately displayed. (so it could be done so that when you place table b, a check mark appears asking if you want to use the table permanently). Regards: Mezilane1
That's an idea in itself, and a pretty good one at that. He looks and thinks!
It is now possible to change the appearance of the chessboard in the Vint2.0 environment. This can be done from the Great Hall by opening the "Settings" window. The positive thing is that the settings are saved, so you don't have to change the appearance every time you come to Vint.
