This weekend, the Estonian Mind Sports Championship in individual classification took place at the Trehv club in Tartu. 21 mind sportsmen from Tartu County, Viljandi County, L-Viru County, Põlva County, Harju County and Jõgeva County participated. Winners of the disciplines: Sudoku - Kertu Majas ( Results) Chess - Gert Elmaste ( Results) Lines of action - Andres Kuusk ( Results) Gomoku - Timo Ilu (Results) Russian Checkers - Gert Elmaste (Results) Overall, the top six were: 1) Andres Kuusk (104p) 2) Gert Elmaste (98p) 3) Villem Mesila (96p) 4) Marten Meikop (82p) 5) Martin Grosberg (75.5p) 6) Rauno Pärnits (75p) Summary table. See you in the spring at the Mind Sports Championships in pairs!
As you can see from the table, the introduction of the new area had a pretty positive effect on the fresh world champion's points score :)
In addition, the best woman, like last year, was Kertu Luht, who is better known worldwide simply under the player name Kertu.
At least a big step has been taken towards promoting Lines of Action. It is a really great game and all participants were able to experience it. I believe that quite a few people liked the game. The next step is to bring this game to life. The next step is to put together a 5-member team 2 years after LofA was released and leave Tim Hebbes 6th in this field at the London Mental Sports Olympiad. The moral of the story is this, you probably already read between the lines that the top 7 could have been reflected in this first post. Good luck and success to the winners!!
Very correct observation Tiit!
I only see a sudoku table?! Elsewhere it throws a message asking me to log in to Google.
Does anyone else have the same problem? I'm not asked to log in.
I'm also including the Sudoku puzzles created by Tiit Vunk with the answers. Those interested can then print them out, solve them, and check the answers.

I don't even ask anything.
I didn't have any problems either.
