User posts in the forum

What is this good for? Why read someone's posts on a forum from five, six or seven years ago?

You don't read other people's posts...just your own.

All posts in the forum are public anyway - now they're just easier to find. For example, if you remember that userx has commented on this topic in the forum (or maybe even yourself), you'll find the post faster. The bigger goal: to increase the readability of the forum.
