Mets58 won the Gentlemen's Tournament Series

Hello, In September, the Gentleman Tournament Series took place in Vint: Every night, a Gentleman Tournament (4 tables) took place, where the results of the 20 best tournaments were counted in the overall standings. During the month, 81 users played in the tournament series and the prize pool was 886 credits. The tournament series was won by Mets58, receiving 266 credits. Good luck to Metsa! The next 2 series, Bismark and Russian Checkers, unfortunately overlap in time. The start time for Russian Checkers could be 19:00, because many checkers players would probably also like to participate in Bismark, but they can't play at the same time and you can't even complete 20 games in both game modes. Maybe then Bismark will start to "stretch" if the Vips simply make Bismark "tick", which no one likes - they will actually lose both games!

I would suggest that there are around 5 users who are interested in both tournament series. The remaining 50 - 100 users do not play both.

Maybe only "real" checkers will remain in checkers, but then Bismarck will suffer, a game that would otherwise be enjoyed by many as a series, but it seems... Why should this checkers start time be exactly 20:00? Those who otherwise could not play this official 18:30 and the same time control 3 2 series at 19:00 instead?

Thanks for the congratulations! There are other similar situations: VIP tournaments start at 22:00 and the chess tournament at 22:01, I would like to play both, but I have to choose :)

However, VIP tournaments only happen every 9th or 10th card game.

There's no point in running two series games together, Meikop itself expects more players for each SERIES, so it would be worth planning accordingly!

Is there really some kind of firm agreement with sponsors or something like that that the start of the Russian Checkers series must definitely be at 8:00 PM, or was it just too late to change the instructions? You'll just lose participants in the end....

I don't think the participants will lose if they feel stronger in checkers, play checkers, and if they think they're better in Bismarck, play that, or play both, if they're particularly skilled and can keep track of both :)
