Moving forward in time and looking into the future, the end of the world is not in sight. The end of humanity is not in sight anytime soon. There was a single comma, but humanity is like half a weed, it will not be destroyed. If we were some kind of pure garden crop, we would have been on the line long ago... and if we could still get a guide... a road... etc. then everything is just beginning...

Why even imagine the end when you can think and move in the opposite direction? There is no developing thought at the end of the world. That is why it is meaningless. Imagining the end of unprotected life is the cruelest imaginable activity. Especially if you give it a specific desired time. The Earth is a moving planetary target protected by an atmosphere and solar wind. The probability of being hit by a larger comet or asteroid is extremely small. Maybe once in 180 million years.
