I had a vision of a completely different Vint.ee last night, which kept me up until midnight. Usually these thoughts don't seem so good in the morning:) I'll write down my thoughts, maybe there's something inside: Problem Vint has separate game rooms, which are quite annoying to sift through. There's always the option to open multiple browser windows and log in to multiple rooms, but then the following problems arise: I start playing in one window and in order not to be bothered by invitations from another window, I have to put a star in front of mine (this is especially nice for the checkers room - 5 stars). In addition, we have some game rooms that are completely empty: Lines of action, Entropia, Othello, etc. The problem with these rooms is that where there is no one, there will be no one: I have personally experienced that if you go to a room 10 times and it is completely empty, then the 11th time you won't get there again. Solution Imagine only one game room in Vind: This game room is completely empty when you first enter - you will be presented with a choice of the following question: What games do you want to play in Vind? There are 26 games to choose from (there are probably about that many), and the choice is game-specific, not game room-based: You can pick out Fischer chess, Pöördkaber and Perekidnoi from there, for example. By pressing ok, you will be presented with a game room with 3 TABs: You are logged in to all three game rooms and you can see the users who have made the same choice - that is, people who really want to play Fischer chess, for example. The games that you did not choose will go to the list on the left, where you can activate them at any time (by drag-drop or clicking). Also - if you get bored of a game, you can close this TAB and that game will go to the left, where you can pick it up again after a while. When you start playing in a room, a star will automatically appear in front of you in other rooms. When the game ends, the star will disappear and you will be ready for challenges again. In addition, there is a general checkmark in the user interface that will put a star in front of you in all rooms (and later remove it). Vint.ee remembers the games you are interested in and the next time you enter, you will be in the same rooms as when you last left! Tournaments - (small) tournament icons could also appear next to the game room when the tournament room opens (30 min. before the tournament starts) and disappear from there when the tournament ends. These tournaments can be picked from there in the same way (by drag-drop or clicking): A tournament TAB will simply appear next to the game rooms. When you register for a tournament, a star will be placed in front of you in all rooms, and when the tournament ends, the stars will also disappear. What do we achieve then? - The user can say exactly which games they are interested in. When they enter Vint, they will be logged into these rooms. - We bring life to less popular rooms - We get a better overview of what's happening in Vinti's gaming rooms and tournaments. It was a long story - what do you think?

I've had the idea for a long time that tournaments could be connected to the game rooms in some way (i.e. some notifications in the game rooms, etc.). But having all the games in one room seems like a good idea. It makes everything much easier and more exciting. I'd like to see what this would look like in general, but it seems like there's a lot of potential. I can't say whether the games would become more popular because of it. The opposite could also happen, if you only choose the ones you definitely want to play, then certain games might remain silent, but it's possible that there will be a positive change. People are different after all, and they play everything. In short, I support the idea of achieving greater simplicity. It would be really convenient to have all the games and tournaments you're interested in in one room.

Yes, in general it seems like a very good idea! But there should also be an option to manually put an asterisk in front of it, and only in one game (or two, three, etc.), so it doesn't necessarily have to be asterisked in front of all of them at the same time.

yes, there must be an option to observe what is happening in the room without accepting challenges.

I really like the idea. Exactly, since the entropy playroom is mostly empty, you don't want to go and see it every time. However, according to this idea, it could be there quietly and you can watch what's going on. Very cool.

I don't think I like it either...then start inventing what, who, where, etc.

A worthy vision, definitely worth making a reality. I'll take it with both hands!
