Can't I do Sudoku duels anymore? I no longer see the challenge request checkbox in the Sudoku area and I can't invite anyone else to the game.
Sudoku duels weren't brought to the new platform because their playability was 100x lower than just solving sudoku puzzles. And if you look at the bottom of this search, another reason emerges - duels were often done to cheat ratings.
Sudoku duels were a bit of an invention anyway - in the real world, Sudoku solving competitions are still held in the same format as tournaments.
And if you really want to compete one-on-one with someone, you can always organize a closed tournament, select suitable Sudoku puzzles, and then start solving them together.

It's very annoying and demotivating that you can't do sudoku duels anymore, and I would probably go to Vindis more if they were still around. So now I only visit before the Estonian Championships or other important competitions to get in better shape. Just recently I wanted to challenge some sudoku players to a duel, but guess what, I can't!
And as I've said before, I didn't do 100x less duels than the rest of the sudos, far from it! Of the 6062 sudokus I've solved, 2117, or ~35%, are duels, and this % would of course be higher if I had been able to do duels recently.
As for cheating, if it is really being used for this purpose, it shouldn't be very difficult to catch these cheaters and they should just be given a lifetime ban and that's it!

We don't see mass interest in these duels.
And if there is no major interest, we can only do this functionality as a "custom job".

Since the duels feature was very popular and solved en masse, I disagree that there is no mass interest in them. And duels have never been a feature that you had to pay for, even novices could do them!
Also, couldn't we just use the code that was there before for duels?

I would like to duel all the interesting points, what would be like duels without rating?
allever, tiit p1k3 etc. don't want to duel, what if they win, their ego is so big that they refuse or they really don't have time, and some new accounts who start playing with each other and unfairly get points won't get anywhere
years ago the duel was the main thing......I remember fondly the sofi with whom we played our 1000 games
