Gert Elmaste won the Hanseatic Days Chess-Drawers tournament

The chess-checkers complex competition held in Viljandi on June 6 as part of the Hanseatic Days was won by Gert Elmaste (brain giant). The key to success was primarily stability, as he reached the top three in both game types. In the overall standings, the second winner of the checkers tournament was Vello Luht. The best player in the chess tournament was Siim Kanep (VMS). In the women's standings, the winner was Karmen Viikmaa (Flora).
