Hello,

This school year, 420 students from 53 schools solved sudoku puzzles. That's 48 students more than last year! A total of 6,628 sudoku puzzles were solved during the Mind Sports Olympiad!

Primary school results
At the elementary school level, 153 students solved sudoku puzzles.
With the maximum score (300 points, four tournament wins out of four) , Lisette Mähar from Tallinn Secondary School No. 32 took first place. Sanna Männigo from Jüri Gymnasium took second place with 285 points. Tõnis Kaasik from Tallinn Science School came in third, with 271 points.
Among the schools, Viimsi School was the best.

Elementary school results
At the elementary school level, 206 students solved sudoku puzzles.
Helena Kender from Võru Kreutzwaldi School took first place with two tournament wins and 292 points. Mikk Kaarel Õim from Tartu Kesklinna School came in second with 290 points. Kaspar Teede from Tallinn Science School took third place, with 280 points.

In the school category, Tallinn Science School won.

High school results
At the high school level, 50 students solved sudoku puzzles.
Oskar Treffner from Tallinn School of Science remained undefeated, winning all four tournaments.
Annaliis Koemets from Tallinn Secondary School 32 took second place with 285 points, and Illimar Kirss from Saaremaa Gymnasium came in third, with 279 points.

In the school category, Saaremaa Gymnasium repeated last year's victory.

Congratulations to the best and thank you everyone for participating!
Many thanks also to two-time world champion in Sudoku solving Tiit Vunk , who tirelessly checked all the solutions and disqualified several who violated the rules.

Named medals and trophies will be delivered to schools no later than May.
