We are pleased to announce that starting today it is possible to hold online sudoku duels in Vint! The Sudoku game room can be accessed from the ajaviitemängude page. More detailed information about sudoku can be read from the Sudoku info and rules page . The best Estonian sudoku solvers have already rated this system as the best in Estonia, which is why we recommend that all sudoku enthusiasts try the duels! Happy solving, Vint.ee Team
In September 2009, we started with sudoku in Vint. January 2013 was a record month in Vint: Never before has so much been played in Vint. I would especially like to highlight sudoku statistics. Last month, 31,000 sudokus were solved (the solution rate is about 80%), on average, three sudokus were solved in Vint at any given time. There was also a record for daily sudokus: on January 29, 502 daily sudokus were solved in Vint (this by 66 people). Some time ago (about a year?) I investigated how many daily sudokus were solved on other Estonian sudoku sites. At that time, for example, more sudokus were solved on the Postman's sudoku page than on Vint (probably because the domain name is sudoku.ee). Today, twice as many sudokus are solved in Vint than there. The main reason is that we have the best sudoku solvers in Estonia (led by Tiidu) in Vint - everyone has the opportunity to compare their abilities with them every day :) However, I think we have the potential to increase these numbers / records at least a couple more times. This year we will move the games to a new platform, soon everyone in Vint will be able to solve sudoku with their smartphone / tablet - solving will become much more convenient. All the best, let's move forward!
According to these statistics, sudoku has been the most popular game in the last year, but nails, podkidnoi and chess are still ahead of them all the time. I would also like to mention that in January a record was set for daily sudokus per month: 12817! But a few more details (a little food for thought). While other games include games between users, it seems that sudokus also include sudokus solved alone, which are in the vast majority (compared to duels). Can this be called a proper game if you solve it alone against the clock? It's a matter of interpretation, isn't it? In addition, in games like checkers, chess, podkidnoi, etc., the number of players is always at least 2, but in sudokus 1, so the number of so-called games (solutions) can clearly be higher, but the number of players is not that much higher. In any case, I'm sure that if you only count sudoku games between two players, sudoku wouldn't seem so popular... And one more thing from the table. For some reason, the Bismarck statistics are not shown (there is a line in the graph).
