For example, the top ten in the tournament are awarded points: 12,10,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 And the tournament series is won by the user who has collected the most points. This is definitely the most flexible option and the easiest to implement.
I would like to bring up this 2 year old topic again. I would do this: The tournament entry form is as usual, only at the end there is a check mark: "Enter tournaments until the end of the VIP validity period"

How does the system know in this case which tournament series to include these tournaments? There can be several series running in parallel. The VIP validity period can also be, for example, 4 months, but the desire to organize a tournament series is, for example, 2 months. I would do this: * the user creates a tournament series; * the tournament entry form has a tournament series selection box, from which you can select which tournament series this tournament will go to; * if you want to enter several tournaments at once, you can also choose from the additional options how many days after each tournament takes place and how many tournaments to enter at once. Flexible simple. Maybe these additional options are like our official tournament entry script, which enters N tournaments every X days for each tournament type.
Done (Tournaments can be entered at once until the end of VIP status). There will be no tournament series this year (no demand).
