driv, I also plan to do a gomokudessant in Viljandi and Viljandimaa (next summer we will hold the European Youth Rengju Championship in Suure-Jaani). So tell your old teachers that it's time to warm up :)

I agree with Marten that the registration has gone well. I'm sure there will be more schools and more students in the next stages.

Hello, Next week, the second stage of the online mental sports Olympiad will take place. Students do not need to register again - everyone who participated in stage I can also participate in the following stages. If there are new interested parties, please send their information (name, class, vint.ee username, which areas they are participating in) by this Friday (11.01). The start time of the tournaments is the same for all stages: 14:00. Compared to the first stage, we have made several improvements to the system, in addition, there is a change in the sudoku competition: the high school level will also solve easy sudokus from now on. We also improved the display of results: http://www.vint.ee/mottespordi-olumpiad/ The overall results should appear on this page immediately after the tournament ends. I would like to give you a little reminder before the start of the tournaments: 1) Please check at least one day before the tournament whether the vint.ee games are working on the computers where the students will play (for example, the chess room http://www.vint.ee/male/ opens). If the problem is discovered on the day of the competition, there is usually nothing more that can be done. 2) Please have students enter (log in) the vint.ee environment approximately half an hour before the start of the tournament (13:30). 3) Students must go to the Vint.ee tournaments page (http://www.vint.ee/turniirid/) and enter their age group tournament. 4) Upon reaching the tournament room, students must click the "Register for the tournament" button. If an exclamation mark appears in front of the username, everything is fine - the student does not have to do anything other than wait for the start of the 1st round. After registering for the tournament, you are not allowed to leave the tournament room. We have updated the pre-registration information on the tournament page. If possible, please ask school representatives to check whether all students from their school are correctly registered. It should also be added that several Vint.ee records were broken during the previous stage: There were over 300 people in the Vint.ee gaming rooms at once, a tournament with over 100 participants took place, over 1,000 people visited Vint during one weekend, and over 3,000 people during a week. All tournaments can be followed in real time - spectators are welcome!

Now you can also see the summary list of participants (number of participants after the first stage). Kudos to Surju Primary School!

Very cool table by the way, but the order should be the other way around, right?! At the moment, it seems like the schools whose students don't want to come are the best!

By the way, a question: why are high school students competing in an easy Sudoku tournament in the 2nd stage, when they did it in the medium stage in the 1st stage? The easy tournament is very good, but still half like a sprint, the medium already shows a higher level.

The average tournament was too difficult for them - no one solved all the sudokus (you can check the tournament table).

Today, in addition to the Olympiad, there will be an international gomoku tournament at 2:15 PM in gomoku, where Russians, Swedes, and Estonians who want to will start playing. In general, of course, I don't advertise playing in two competitions at once. However, I know that some people will wash out their game in a couple of dozen seconds and then pass for about ten minutes while doing something else. For such people, a second tournament would be good - the Swedes are complete beginners and it would be great to play with them. There are Russians of different levels. Those who don't play in the school Olympiad, definitely come to the second tournament!
