Would the correct rating system change?

Losing a rating for someone who hasn't played for a while is a pretty stupid idea, especially if the person hasn't played for a year!
m00sekandi's story has a point.
Since there were opinions that 550 is too small a difference to gain another point for, I will change the rating system formula as follows: R(new) = R(old) (S x 21) (R(opponent) - R(old)) / 36 This formula allows one point to be given to a user who is 720 points ahead of another.
But I didn't understand what moosekant meant by losing the rating. If it's about taking some amount off the rating, then I didn't actually propose that for serious discussion, I mentioned the existence of such a possibility. However, if it's about removing a player from the table after 2-3 months, then when I proposed it, I assumed that the player would get back there if he plays again. I think it's a pretty good idea to put a limit on getting into the table at all, but passive players shouldn't be there either, and 1 year is an extremely long time for the internet. Many people (especially children) create multiple accounts for themselves for some reason and after a certain time they don't use some of them or the person simply gives up playing, and it would be appropriate to remove such users from the active leaderboard.
Oh well, I have to apologize to allever because he invited me to play renju and doesn't keep his rating :)
After all, there are exceptions, but above all, it's a pleasure to play here... which means that the rating system doesn't change anything.
Totally agree, the main thing is that you can play in a nice environment :). The Vindi boys have really pulled off a great thing.
In that regard, I would like to know why Ants is trying to give me a bad name here? That I won't play with the strong? Before the new rating system, I had played with basically everyone in the top 40, and the fact that I didn't accept Ain1234's invitation one day immediately says that I don't play with the stronger ones? I played a lot of games here and raised my rating with the old system, and who forbade you to do the same with the gold one? You had the same chances as me, didn't you? Or do you not like the fact that I'm in first place? Let Meikop take my rating to 2000 if you want your first place so much. :)
Peace, only peace! No one will be deducted points! The new Rating System formula looks like this: R(new) = R(old) (S x 21) (R(opponent) - R(old)) / 36 This means that you can gain points if you play with a player who is less than 720 points away from you. Best, Marten
Officially, in chess, if R-R_V=0, then you must get 50% of the points. If you can't, then the following is done: 1) So a win gives (1-0.5)*K, where K is the growth coefficient, which is 10 for masters, 15 for ordinary people and 25 for beginners. So the maximum you can get with an equal opponent is 7.5 for a win and -7.5 for a loss (for ordinary people). In Estonia, I use K=10 in rapid chess for everyone with a rating >= 1600. Hence the very big difference in your rating system, because you have 21 and -21. Maximum leader: 1) First, the difference in the players' ratings is calculated up to 350, if it is higher, then 350 is taken, which means that a win gives more to the stronger side, but not to the weaker. The opposite is true with a loss. 2) 350 corresponds to the point requirement of 89% of the stronger and 11% of the weaker. 3) So a draw gives (0.5-0.89)*K=-0.39*K ~ -6 to the stronger and (0.5-0.11)=0.39*K ~ 6 to the weaker. A win gives (1-0.89)*K=0.11*K ~ 1.65 to the stronger and if the weaker wins, then (1-0.89)*K ~ 13.35 A loss gives -13.35 to the stronger and -1.65 to the weaker. Of course, there is no point in implementing such a system here, but I brought it here so that you can see the scale. Estonian Chess Federation Rating Administrator Edu.
