Is there a letter CHI in this wonderful book? Knowing more or less the transcription rules and the ideology of the EKI, it is very difficult to form a chi from any letter. The German spelling should be quite close to us in this area: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koptische_Schrift Which of these letters is chi?
The table reads: Letter name: chi Character: resembles Xi Transliteration: kh
Yes, the name of the x sound is khi (khe in English), pronounced kh. As I mentioned above, the name of the ch sound is chema and the name of the sh sound is shi. I hope Meikop will fix that chi nicely.
posted by umbluu All kinds of alphabets and letter names are available in a great Estonian book titled Keelteatlas.
Crosswords must be solved without leaving your computer. We can't assume that everyone has this book, especially during a tournament.
My deepest respect to the person who thinks that a computer is an omniscient assistant when solving crossword puzzles. Especially with the help of such questionable sources as the Estonian Wikipedia's list of fish.
Since the compiler took them from there, it is a suitable tool for solving vint.ee crosswords :P
If it's the letter X, then with all due respect to the Koolibri publishing house, it's very much like the English equivalent of the Greek hii chi has been written. This is the English reference book that was translated, this Keelteatlas. As rotten as this social data literature is sometimes, then everything else can't be wrong and one book can be right.
But as for solving it otherwise, the criterion for a good crossword puzzle is not whether I'm sitting in a pile of books or on Wikipedia. Rather, it's that some towns with 2,000 inhabitants don't prevail and don't cross over with potato, rose and date varieties. Not that they shouldn't exist, they can and even have to.., but a crossword puzzle could be a little bit of life. And we shouldn't discriminate against footballers from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Gibraltar and gooseberry varieties. And Thai letters.
