Hello, in August there will be several international tournaments in Vind, I will give a short overview of them: European Youth Championship in International Draughts The tournaments will start August 1st. They will be played in five different age groups, boys and girls separately and in two different time controls. So there will be a total of 20 tournaments over 8 days. We created a separate game type for these competitions (FMJD International Draughts) because the official FMJD youth rating will be used in the draw for the first rounds. The Estonian Draughts Association is responsible for entering the ratings and organizing the tournaments. To date, 500 young people have already registered for the tournaments! Junior World Championship in Rendžus They will be played in four different age groups, boys and girls separately. So there will be a total of 8 tournaments. The tournaments will start August 4th. What makes these competitions special is the fact that 9 rounds will be played over three days. To support this competition, we have created a system of multi-day tournaments - that is, all 8 tournament rooms are open for 3 days. Junior World Gomoku Championships The tournaments start August 7th and will take place in the same format as Renju. Up to 500 players are also expected for the Gomoku and Renju tournaments! World Mind Sports Championships These competitions have recently taken place every year in August in London. This year, it was decided to organize them online and we are pleased to announce that five tournaments will also take place on the Vint.ee portal: 02.08 Sudoku tournament 07.08 Gomoku 08.08 Othello 16.08 Entropia 19.08 Handover The competitions are public, meaning everyone can participate - the results of users who have registered on the MSO page will be counted in the World Championship. We will also try to broadcast these competitions live on Facebook or Youtube! All these competitions (and the fact that they are basically taking place at the same time) will really test Vint.ee as a platform. Over 50 new users have registered every day in July, which is at least 10 times more than usual. Test tournaments are also held in advance in all games, in which everyone can participate. I therefore invite vint.ee users to keep an eye on the tournament calendar, participate in test tournaments, and come and watch the real competitions - world-class mental sports are not brought "home" in this form every day :) Fingers crossed that everything works technically and we will be polite to our guests! Have a nice summer!
