Othello World Championship

I just happened to talk to Benkt Steentoft, the general director of the Othello World Championship, whom I have met before in Sweden. He invited Estonians to participate in the Othello World Championship. The nearest one is 10.-13.11.2010, I guess they are late in getting there, but you can read more detailed information here: Www.worldothellofederation.com. Either Tiit or Andres will walk around for a few years and then stop :)

I looked at the old results out of interest. The World Championships are held every year and the number of participants is awe-inspiring. It is popular in the Othello world. In fact, organizing the Othello Estonian World Championships is one of the outputs that the newly established Estonian Thought Sports Association will definitely undertake. The Estonian Othello School is coming!
