It seems that the topic from 6 years ago can be revived, today we have more games, so I propose the following tournament: Classic mind sports tournament 1) Chess 2) Russian Checkers 3) Color-changing Gomoku 4) Sudoku (9x9 hard) 5) Othello 6) Lines Of Action 7) Entropy 8) Fischer chess 9) Surrender 10) Stack 4D 11) Crossword (10x10 medium) I'm not sure if another option is needed?

Maybe we should try shorter variants and fewer areas for now. Verywell's idea of setting a fixed total time is very good. I've even played live flash chess tournaments where several games are played in one time. It gives interesting tactical options, especially when it comes to multiple areas. In your weaker areas you just try to waste your opponent's time, knowing that you won't win anyway. Maybe we could think of such a variant as duels... There would be a special room where, for example, a certain number of variants of mixed games are selected, from which the challenger can choose and set the time control himself. And tournaments could also take place in the same room. There is also a so-called mixed rating for mixed games :)
Now that time has moved on... I should try to put together a more suitable option for today from these separate good ideas. My offer would still be 2 options, but no more than 5 areas in one tournament: 1. Since the best score of mental athletes is held here, it could be these 5 areas and the total time mentioned by VeryWell over 5 games, you know how you divide your time between the games. This could be organized by Vint.ee. 2. vint.ee can still offer tournaments consisting of different games and maybe even more than a set of 5 different games once a month. As well as the principle of series competitions, that 1 tournament should not last more than an hour, but once a month could be longer. The idea that I proposed a long time ago also fits well into this topic: The organizer (let it be a VIP) could freely choose Varia tournaments from the set of all the areas here, initially not more than 3-5 areas in 1 tournament. Chess-checkers is also played at the EMV level, for example. I believe that - if such a possibility -, favorite multi-competitions would eventually develop, which vint.ee could then include in its official program. We have played a three-competition live: chess-checkers-podkidnoi (or surrender) which quickly became popular. You can even vary it by whether you play all the games in a row with 1 player or instead in a round system by areas, etc. In any case, it would add excitement: some chess-checkers players will also start trying more cards and vice versa :)

VIPID should be able to organize such tournaments too :) Meikop, the second variant is much better for you
there could also be shorter versions of 3 and 4
My proposals did include the word "up to"; the organizer chooses, but vint.ee's official tournaments could still follow a set that fits in terms of time and probably also the areas based on popularity. I agree that the official selection should not include board games and card games mixed together. I really don't understand why there should be a record of mental athletes if these areas cannot be played in one competition!? There was also talk of a total rating; since Vint has 3 sub-divisions in games, then there could be separate rankings: 1. board games (all together); 2. card players (also the sum of the ratings of all card games); in other games, of course, it would be problematic to lump Sudoku with drawing :D .
