On the big board, or international checkers, Kadi Veski became the women's champion with 13 points. Piret Viirma and Marika Azojan shared second place. Azojan had to bow to Viirma in the extra games. Kaido Leesmann won the men's title with 22 points. Last year's champion Urmo Ilves was second with 18 points, and Anti Ingel, who made a good final push, came third with 16 points. On the small board, or Russian checkers, Kaari Vainonen won with 20 points, Marika Azojan was second with 15 points, and Elvia Sõber was third with 14 points. Villem Lüüs won the men's Russian checkers with 40 points, Raivo Rist was second with 36 points, and Heinar Jahu was third with 34 points. All tournaments were played in a round-robin format.
