Hello, I'm bringing up the topic of paid chess tournaments again. Since I would love to play Fischer chess myself, I propose to start organizing paid Fischer chess tournaments once a week. The tournament could take place on Tuesdays instead of the 9:00 PM Fischer tournament. The entry fee would then be either 10 or 25 credits (1 / 2.5 EUR) - both would suit me. The top three will receive the following from the entry fees: 1) 40% 2) 25% 3) 15% So if there are 10 participants and the entry fee is 2.5 EUR, the prizes would be: 1) 10 EUR 2) 6.2 EUR 3) 3.7 EUR I would suggest 5 2 for the time control. Or is it possible to use outside help with such a time control in the case of Fischer? If at least 3 interested people register on this forum (including me, four), I will start these tournaments. Share your opinion!

The offer is good, but I'm not interested because the three are black and red. This is shown by regular chess tournaments. I don't see the point in spending credit. But good luck to those who want to play.

I don't think the black and reds will come to play at first - if they do, we'll have a separate closed tournament for us "grays and greens", where we'll agree on the participants first. Or we'll start with closed tournaments right away. Artsan dares to play with me :)?

I dare to play with everyone here, although 5 2 is not my favorite, 10 0 would be better. I'm still thinking.

quite a good idea in itself...

The idea is great, but how to increase interest? In different groups, everyone has a chance to win. ....But there is no information about the opponent. Only the rating is known. The opponent can change. Even if the name is the same. ...With four players, the chances of winning would be: the first 4, the second 2.5 and the third 1.5. In essence, the winner is only the first. ....But there could be a chance to have a duel between those who want to, who trust each other completely. So to speak, it's a matter of honor, if the rules are acceptable to both sides. After winning, play a few games. The competition only takes place when there is a real chance of winning, maybe you know your chance, to beat the opponent and it's relatively fifty-fifty. But maybe the spectators want to place bets? On the winner or loser! :)

It would probably help against cheating if you made a plugin that would detect how many times per minute you change pages. If this number gets very high, the game will be ended and the honest player will win. But at the same time, for such small amounts, hardly anyone will go crazy for money and look for ways to win in any way. I'll see, maybe I'll take part too.

one way to level out level differences is thinking time. for example, the same level 5min vs 5 min (5:5) 1 level different 4:6 2 levels different 3:7 3 levels different 2:8 4 levels different 1:9

This idea of levels is relatively good.

There's not enough time for a game under 3 minutes. If you have an older and slower computer, you won't be able to play.
