There is nothing in the rules about such a situation.

Hello! How many serious Othello players and enthusiasts do we have? I am the contact person for the international Othello Federation WOF (https://www.worldothello.org/) in Estonia - https://www.worldothello.org/associations/europe/estonia, but I must honestly admit that I am not very involved in the matter. I have thought about organizing an Othello tournament in Karepa a few times and a few foreign guests seemed to be interested, but that's where it ended. In fact, we received 16 sets of Othello from Sweden the year before last, which are now used in mind game circles and if necessary, we could organize something. Now WOF is asking me if they could send their newsletters to up to 3 more Estonian Othello players, if we would make an Estonian Othello FB page, etc. Anyway, Othello enthusiasts can let us know :)

Othello seems like the hardest game for me. I couldn't even beat computer programs 😅
