Greed does not give shame

A Scotsman loses £100 in a poker game and tearfully pleads with his partners: “If my wife finds out I lost £100, she’ll cut my head off! I beg you, give me this money back, or my life is over...” The partners sigh heavily, but still give the Scotsman back the money he lost. “Guys,” the Scotsman continues, “can you give me another £50, so I can tell her I won?”
