Algo Laidvee won the Vint.ee checkers mixed series!

Hello, This week the Mixed Checkers Series 2020 ended. During the six-week competition, all five checkers that can be played on Vint were played: Russian Checkers, International Checkers, Brazilian Checkers, Reverse Checkers and English Checkers. A total of 30 tournaments were held and the results of the 20 best tournaments were counted. During the tournament series, 113 users moved virtual checkers, with 23 players meeting the required 20 tournament criteria. Algo Laidvee won the tournament series with eight tournament wins and 223 points. It is worth noting that Algo has been an active Vint user for almost 13 years. During this time, he has played 25,000 games of various checkers on our portal. That means an average of 5 checkers games a day. And so on for 13 years in a row. Practice makes perfect! With four tournament wins and 200 points, second place went to Villem Lüüs, and third place went to Imre Anton. The rest of the top six were also made up of very well-known names in the Estonian checkers scene: Heinar Jahu, author of several checkers textbooks, Tarmo Tulva, president of the Estonian Checkers Association, Tarmo Tulva, and dozens of times Estonian women's champion Kaari Vainonen.
