The international Othello team tournament has begun.

Yesterday, a major international Othello tournament - World Othello Team Masters - started on the Vint.ee portal.

This is a tournament where international team matches are held: Each country is represented by a 4-member team, the countries are divided into subgroups, and the best teams in the subgroups qualify for the quarterfinals. The tournaments are held using the team tournament functionality of the vint.ee portal (which was developed specifically for the Othello World Federation).

The competition is quite long - while the first group matches started at the end of July, the final is scheduled for December 11!

If yesterday Hong Kong and Iran met, today Indonesia and Australia and Israel and France will face off. You can keep an eye on the tournament schedule by clicking on the "Next tournaments" link below in the Othello room.
