A user suggested that Vinti also implement a game like 'tornkabe'. The rules are as follows: captured pieces are not removed from the board, but remain under the piece that removed them. Later, these pieces can be released by exchange. You can play on 64 and 100 boards. Has anyone encountered such a game and can tell us more?

Diana and I discussed this rook checkers thing. It would really be nice if there was an opportunity to play it here on the portal. I propose that the board numbers be correct, as they should be in international checkers according to the ECL rules. This means that the sides of the board do not have the letters a, b, s, etc., but should be as intended. :) Best regards, Helina

A few more things that should be clarified. For example, I would prefer to also point out the rules. I believe it would be good if there were hundred rules in rook checkers (most moves, etc.). It should also be indicated on the main button how many buttons are under it. I am still waiting for suggestions and I am also thinking about it. Päikest, Helina

Because in real checkers it is inconvenient to play, because the towers tend to fall over!!! But how can you see the entire contents of the tower in this computer image?

This (tornkabe) topic came up about a year ago. At that time, it was decided that this game was a low priority (few people know about it). Today, I can say that we probably won't do it in the first half of this year either - we have more important projects (paid tournaments, event calendar) etc. at the moment. We'll see in the fall how much interest there is in this game.

Regular checkers, but with all sorts of interesting nuances! And if I say that it is very rarely played, then I will say that it was played quite often by children in the old days. Meanwhile, English and Brazilian checkers were practically not played at all until English checkers came along with computer programs. If it weren't so difficult to perform visually, it would have more players than Brazilian and English!

I've been to a checkers tournament that lasted a few days, and there were at least 4 rook checkers games going on between each round.
