Hello, Vint.ee Summer Days took place over the weekend, where the Estonian championships in English checkers and reverse checkers also took place. While there were almost 20 people at the Summer Days, there were 11 and 8 participants in the tournaments, respectively. Both tournaments were won by Tarmo Tulva. The tournaments were held in a round-robin system (everyone played everyone). In English checkers, an additional match was needed to determine the winner (Tarmo Tulva vs. Andres Kuusk), from which T.Tulva emerged as the winner. Second place went to Andres Kuus and third place overall went to Kaari Vainonen. In reverse checkers, an additional match was needed to determine second and third places. While Tarmo Tulva won the tournament, Kaari Vainonen came in second and Marten Meikop came in third. The tournament tables will appear on this forum as soon as we have uploaded them to the internet.
