If you want to join a table and the other player refuses, you can write that the user refused to join you, instead of leaving you waiting and still writing "Waiting for a response."

And what next? Should the user join the same board again or if they have already said no once, they can no longer join that board?

You have to log out of the table and back in again and sit down at the table again. But if the user doesn't accept again, it will still say "waiting for response" and you can wait.
