Duubeldamise turniirile hiline registreerumine

I agree. It's up to the user when they join, because points are counted at the end. Being late doesn't affect the number of rounds or the length of the game. I've even registered for a game and then left. Just so I could play the game in half an hour. And the user himself gets destroyed if he joins 10 minutes before the end of the time :P
I started programming it (it also comes to sudoku tournaments - last year quite a few students missed out because they were 2 minutes late for the tournament). But as for how long you can be late, in the case of doubling, I would say that you shouldn't be more than 15 minutes late, otherwise it's possible to take advantage of it: You watch your competitor's game and if he gets a bad result, you register yourself and go play too :) PS! Being late is only allowed for VIP users and for everyone in closed tournaments (for example, mental sports olympiads).
Well, exactly, the thing is that VIPs can only be late. And you definitely shouldn't let it be more than 15 minutes, I would even cut that time. In fact, when the tournament starts at 4, everyone who wants to play will arrive first, as has been the case so far, not that some people will drop in here a quarter of an hour later. If you don't arrive on time, you wait for the next tournament or play in the game room.. Enjoy the programming :)
The idea has already moved forward: a 15-minute lateness option should be introduced for all tournaments (including chess/checkers). Currently, the rule in dueling games is that you can be late for one round. But this 1 round lasts differently in different games: 2 minutes in nails, 20 minutes in chess. Being 15 minutes late in dueling tournaments can mean that the latecomer will get a zero score in several rounds at the beginning, but that's their problem - come on time next time :) Yes, 15 minutes is not set in stone either. We can also change it to 10 minutes
Let it be the same everywhere then.
Done, all tournaments now have a 10-minute delay option (applies to VIP users)
