Hello, Today we are publishing a summary of the results of the checkers tournament. This academic year, 527 students from 56 schools played checkers as part of the Mental Sports Olympiad. The most participants were from basic schools - 249, followed by primary schools with 241 and upper secondary schools with 37 participants. The most interested in checkers (31) was from Viljandi Jakobson School. Results by age groups: Primary school In primary school, Tallinn Pääsküla Gymnasium did a great job, winning all the top three places. First place was won by Priit Lokotar (winning all 4 stages), second came Sven Erik Manglus and third place was won by Karoliina Kurm. Of course, the best among schools was Tallinn Pääsküla Gymnasium. Second place went to Triinu Jalg from Oskar Lutsu Palamuse Gymnasium and third place went to Mark Basarab from Peetri Lasteaed-Põhikoool. The best school was Peetri Lasteaed-Põhikoool. Second place went to Merilii Jalg from Oskar Lutsu Palamuse Gymnasium and third place went to Rene Lumiste from Tallinn Reaalkümnaasium. The best school was Nõo Reaalgümnaasium.
