In addition to Sudoku GP, Logic GP will also be launched this year. If you are interested in it, I definitely recommend checking it out and finding out what it is. There is definitely something for everyone, but probably also something that can be very difficult even for more experienced solvers. The competition website is: http://gp.worldpuzzle.org/content/puzzle-gp The dates are as follows: January - 31 - Feb 2 - Japan February - 28 - Mar 2 - Slovakia March - 28 - 30 - Germany April - 25 - 27 - Czech Republic May - 23 - 25 - UK June - 20 - 23 - Turkey I hope to see more Estonians there besides myself.
I tried. I only managed to solve one (at least it seemed like I got it right). The rest I'll have to try/learn.
It must be admitted that there are indeed quite a few tasks that require brainstorming. I'm not sure if this format is the most suitable for those who don't have much experience. Personally, I don't think it's particularly suitable. There will probably be enough outcry about it and something will probably be done - but probably many people won't try it a second time. I'm an optimist and I think there will be several GP rounds with tasks of a more reasonable difficulty level.
I tried it too, I got 2 done, I guess that's right. I got the first one done quickly, the next one I did easy as ABCD for about an hour and I didn't feel like doing more. Maybe I'll look at the rest in the spring :)
OOO, see üks saigi õigesti. Nurikabe mulle muidu meeldib ja hiina müür ka, aga need olid üle mõistuse. :)
The results of the 2nd round are out. http://www.gp.worldpuzzle.org/content/official-results-wpf-gp-puzzle-2 According to the table, 7 Estonians participated, although all of those in the table have solved at least one problem correctly. So maybe someone else participated who did not get the desired result. This could also be caused by the complexity of entering the answer lines, because a remarkable number of people have made a typing error when entering. But everyone does their own research.
The 3rd round competition guide is available.

Round 4 is coming up. The guide is available: http://gp.worldpuzzle.org/content/instruction-booklet-2 The guide has apparently been up for a while, but there's still time to prepare. This time, the host is Czech Republic.
