Gifting VIP status to another user

The Tax Board has banned the transfer of credit from one user to another, but there should be no restrictions on purchasing VIP status for another user. Does anyone miss this functionality?

We call this giving VIP status to another user. It would look like this: if you view a user's profile and that user is not a VIP and you have credit on your account, buttons will appear on that user's profile to "give this user VIP status" for 1 day, 1 week, 1 month. When you click the button, you will be asked for confirmation and then the gift will be made.

You can donate money on which income tax has been paid in Estonia - income tax must be paid to the Estonian Tax Board on donations received from abroad.

Does this gift have to be anonymous, or can the recipient be sent a notification saying "User X gifted you VIP status for y" or does it have to be optional?
