Problem: Second criterion in the ranking

Hi, It has happened twice in the last month that two users with exactly the same rating are at the top of the leaderboard. The question arises as to who is the leader of the leaderboard. Maybe we need to figure out what the second criterion could be. My first thought is the number of games played - the higher the better. Does anyone have any other opinions?
Even at the Olympic Games, if the result is equal, both are awarded a gold medal - do the same here (small financial loss, but very big increase in reputation)
tournaments!! Often tournaments have so-called. place distributions and here the system is solved based on rating, but it would still be more correct to compare based on the better results of a specific tournament: whoever has more maximum results, is ahead, if they are equal, then the comparison of the next better places, etc. etc. I said this a long time ago, but these distributions are happening more often these days and this should be changed in the algorithm!
In all kinds of online logic puzzle competitions, if the score is the same, the one who entered the result earlier will receive the higher place. In the preliminaries of a ski sprint, if the time is the same, the one who started earlier will receive the better place. So in the event of a tie, the advantage will be given to the one who entered the result first.
... then the Eurovision Song Contest :) , at least in tournaments: whoever has more maximums ahead, if they are equal, then we compare "tens" etc. The same applies in sports, at the World Cup stages. Nothing complicated and understandable to the group here. In the case of the current rating, I agree that the one who has played more during the so-called calculation period is ahead.
