Free rounds in 4-person groups

Would it be possible to tweak things so that if there are two extra players in a tournament, the system would automatically create two tables out of three instead of a free round? It would be more exciting if you didn't have to pass empty handed.

Yes, that was the idea, to include all the players as much as possible.

and if it's going to be a joke, the late registration limit could also be moved to the end of the second round, currently it ends in the middle of the second round and there's no special point in that for latecomers

Done! Free rounds are now only available when there are 5 players in the tournament. In all other cases, tables 3 and 4 are combined. Let us know how it works!
