Hello, This October marks 100 years since the first known checkers event in Estonia. The Estonian Checkers Association invites you to take part in the anniversary competition!!! As part of the anniversary year, a match will be held on 3 October at 11 am at Pääsküla Gymnasium on a 50-board Estonia versus Nõmme Checkers Club. The matches will take place as follows: Adults: 12 boards (10 men and 2 women) Russian checkers and 8 boards (6 men and 2 women) international checkers. Youth: 10 boards (8 young men and 2 girls) international checkers from the junior and cadet age groups and 20 boards (14-16 boys and 4-6 girls) international checkers. The approximate duration of the competition is 2-3 hours. The organizers reserve the right to adjust the number of boards, type of checkers, gender and age groups according to the number of participants.
