The EMV multi-sport competition for mind games took place in Rakvere

On July 3-4, 2010, the Estonian Mind-Bending Championship (individual classification) took place in Rakvere. The event could even be considered international, as there were guests from Russia and Sweden among the competitors. The disciplines were sudoku, chess, bridge, gomoku and checkers. The winner of Sudoku was Ain Salula, the reigning Estonian champion in solving sudoku. The best chess player was Triin Narva, who has also become the Estonian champion in flash chess. The winner of Bridge was Andres Kuusk. The winner of Gomoku was Timo Ilu. The winner of Checkers was Tiit Vunk. Andres Kuusk was crowned the Estonian champion! Tiit Vunk took second place, and Eino Vaher came third. In the women's classification, the best place went to Irina Metreveli from Russia, who achieved a high 5th place. The Estonian women's champion was Triin Narva, who achieved 14th place overall. The second Estonian woman is Kertu Luht, and the third is Enith Li Saag. Thanks to Tiidu for the kind words! I feel good that everything went well. Thanks to all the competitors who sacrificed two sunny days and helped to carry forward the idea of mental sports. Thanks to Ants for organizing the wonderful guest fighters! At the end, I forgot to thank the Vinti judging team and Tiidu personally - everything went smoothly and quickly like clockwork!
