From now on, every user has the opportunity to make Vint.ee even more user-friendly - anyone can send an anonymous tip about a rude user to the Vint.ee team. If rude behavior is proven, that user will be banned for 14 days. Let's make Vint better together!

The "Report a rude user" form can now be found under "Feedback". And the "Feedback" form is in the left menu in the new design!

Starting today, we're using AI to set bans: Every morning, AI analyzes what happened the previous day. This morning, 3 users received a 2-week ban.

I have always been against all kinds of stupidity and thoughtlessness on this site and everywhere else, and especially against discrimination and Nazism/fascism, but now suddenly the opportunity for text analysis has been completely arbitrarily given to the so-called Chat-Bot!! So what and how and what the hell is going on!!?? Ok, I understand that some artificial intelligence is analyzing, but the decision is made solely by 1 man!! Madhouse! Pure and big mess in the house!! This post will probably be deleted, but well, completely incomprehensible bragging!!

AI is certainly not capable of adequately analyzing all the text that user Mets 58 has thrown into this game space and even doing some kind of linguistic analysis! Well, every normal and long-term user here knows what "crap" Mets can spit out, but it is clear that this is exactly what he does and is testing the limits. So on what basis could AI start making proposals for bans!!? He doesn't understand the entire content of the writings, maybe he suddenly starts reading together words with a certain wrong tone, in sentences or something? A really brainless idea! Can AI really assess the inappropriateness of writings in this space - It is not immediately conceivable and once again I say, it is really brainless!!

By the way, AI is very good at assessing language usage! Try it out and ask Vindi ChatBot whether certain phrases are good practice or not.

I have had quite long texts analyzed, from all angles, not in this room. First of all, you have to be able to ask questions of the AI, and it can answer differently every time and it doesn't understand the big picture. Of course, you can specify which words should not be in the sdsin chat, but that's already there! But what is an insult or a strong insult, or is the text intended for 1 specific user, the entire vint.ee, or is it honest criticism or harassment, etc. - to give the right to analyze this to the AI - this idea or decision is still brainless and it shouldn't even be considered to give any decision-making power or control to the AI, although it could sometimes give better results than the current decisions and actions are in the hands of humans. :)

Ok, at some point, when I have time, I will give the AI a task about "good practice", and tell it about the principles of verification on this site and, for example, the correspondence of some things to the statutes of the club, but that takes time, which we don't have at the moment. Based on a few random sentences, you certainly can't talk about any violation of good practice, etc. I have had a long correspondence analyzed, for example, but when I add context or a few more letters and background and additional explanations, the overall analysis comes out different every time, which is also very circular. Maybe the robot is built in such a way that it wants to please the questioner, but that's still not really good truth or good practice!
