Hello! From July 26 to 29, the European Youth Chess Championship in Renjús took place at Rakvere Gymnasium. Estonia had the greatest success in the younger girls' (up to 12 years old) group, where the winner was Mai (vindis tiigrike), a representative of the well-known chess family Narva. Already on August 1, Mai will travel to Austria, where she will defend Estonia's honor at the European Union Under-12 Children's Chess Championship. In addition, Estonians won 2 more silver medals - Madli Mirme (Nuffu) among the 18-23 year old girls (she was just behind the Russian Tatjana Krajeva in terms of coefficients) and Martin Hõbemägi (matu97) among the 13-17 year old boys. Among the 18-23 year old boys, bronze was won by Paul Väljata (pv2)
It's good to read now that your family is doing well. I wish everyone luck, especially Mai.
