Happy New Year!

Hello, 2011 was a successful year for Estonian mind sports: Andres Kuusk was crowned the world mind sports champion, Tiit Vunk won a bronze medal at the Sudoku World Championship, and Estonian young chess players won several medals at international tournaments. Last year, a new game was added to Vint: 4-person perekidnoi, we carried out a rating reform, made vint login more convenient (Facebook and Google login), and opened an international version of vint.ee: mindoku.com 2011 and Vint.ee in numbers: 2950 new users registered (on average 10 each day); We were visited (based on Google analytics) nearly 500,000 times from nearly 60,000 computers; In total, almost a million games were played in Vint in 2011 - 940,000! A little bit about the near future: We will try to open the Bismarck game room in Vint this week (initially for a smaller group - to test the game properly). By March, we will improve the closed tournament system, where tournament participants can be determined in advance (this update is necessary for conducting an inter-school checkers tournament).
