Tuul Sarv - Andres Kuusk won first place in a very close competition at the Estonian MV Mind Games for Pairs held in Tartu on April 12-13. The silver medal was won by multiple champions Eino Vaher - Jüri Raidväli, and the bronze medals were won by Lauri Naber - Marko Kolk. The special award for the best female pair was awarded to Meeri Lembinen - Irene Tamm, and the award for Mind Games Developer and Popularizer of the Year went to the vint.ee team. Ants Särgava - Meelis Tätte narrowly missed out on the medal ceremony, with just 1 point, but they were the only ones who managed to be the best in two individual disciplines - memory games and chess. The remaining disciplines won: checkers - Jüri Raidväli-Eino Vaher; bridge - Lauri Naber-Marko Kolk; sudoku - Tuul Sarv-Andres Kuusk. The participants also laid the foundation for the creation of the Estonian Mind Games Mind Games Multi-Competition Federation. The next brainstorming competition - the Estonian Individual Championships - will also take place in Tartu in July. All interested parties who respect the principles of fair play are welcome.
