Mind Games Olympiad 2025/2026 - Sudoku Results

Hello!

We continue with the publication of the overall results of the Mind Sports Olympiad. The Sudoku results have been checked and released, so here is a summary of the overall winners.

This school year, 362 students solved sudoku puzzles!

Primary school results
At the elementary school level, 160 students solved sudoku puzzles.
With the maximum score (300 points, four tournament wins out of four) , Luis Lehto from Tartu City Center School once again took first place. Ruudi Johannes Õim from Miina Härma Gymnasium took second place with 285 points. Agnes Laane from Laagri School came in third, with 272 points.

Among the schools, the best was Tallinn Old Town Educational College .

Elementary school results
At the elementary school level, 169 students solved sudoku puzzles.
This year, all four stages were won by Lennart Lehto , a student from Tartu Kesklinna School, who scored 300 points. Oliver Needo from Võru Kreutzwaldi School came in second with 285 points. Mikk Kaarel Õim from Tartu Kesklinna School came in third with 274 points.

In the school category, Tallinn Science School won.

High school results
At the high school level, 23 students solved sudoku puzzles.
Oskar Treffner from Tallinn School of Science won again with 300 points.
Illimar Kirss from Saaremaa Gymnasium took second place with 290 points. Carlos Püüding from Saaremaa Gymnasium came in third, with 277 points.

In the school category, Saaremaa Gymnasium won.

Many thanks also to two-time world champion in Sudoku solving Tiit Vunk , who tirelessly checked all the solutions and disqualified several who violated the rules.

Named medals and trophies will be delivered to schools no later than May.
