I am all for making a Bismarck card game! If I could play Prog, I would have made this game myself a long time ago! Strength and stamina!

I haven't seen Bismarck online before, but if it comes out, I'd play it.

posted by Mezilane1 I don't think 52 cards is better because: the games would still be too long, everyone would have about 4 more cards in their hands, which you're already doing for a 16-card round. Besides that: There could be a window next to the game that says offer a 10-minute break. Then the game will be paused for 10 minutes when the round is over. I'm also interested in how you plan to realize the points, see the tricks. Is there a date in place when it will be realized, tested. Greetings Mezilane1
Oh yeah..... one more improvement, for the break to come, each player must press it. And if someone has offered a break, others will see it written next to them by break or something like that

But if you pause the game for 10 minutes, it will take a lot longer, right? Otherwise, Bismarck could come, I would play.

posted by TiiT A fair scoring system would be such that the winner takes points from both the second and third, and the second takes points from the third.
B -- taking; I -- giving; S -- taking with trump; M -- giving with trump A -- laying from six to ace; R -- laying from ace to six; C -- laying freely; K -- wishing. 3 players The total score of the players must be 0 Each game is played 3 times and the cards are shuffled in turn. Taking. The next player after the shuffler must take 6 tricks, the remaining 3 tricks. Each trick that comes over brings points and each trick that comes under brings - points. Giving. The next player after the shuffler can take 6 tricks, the remaining 3 tricks. Each trick that exceeds the allowed number brings -. Taking with trump. The trump is made by the shuffler based on the next 3 cards. If there is no suit, you must play trump. The points are calculated the same as when taking without trump. Giving with trump. The trump is made by the shuffler based on the next 3 cards. If there is no suit, you must play trump. The points are calculated the same as when giving without trump. Laying from 6 to ace. One by one, if there is none, pass is said, no passing is allowed without reason. Points are calculated based on the cards, the game ends when the first player runs out of cards, each card that was left in hand gives - the winner gets as much how many cards the losers had left in hand. Laying from ace to 6. Everything else is the same as in the previous game. Free laying. The next player from the shuffler says what to lay from his deck of cards. Free play. The next player from the shuffler says what game to play. The best thing to learn/remember during the game. I guess :)

Matu, you didn't bother to follow Bismarck's spelling :). True, I remember that when this game was played itself, the last, 8th area was also torn to free stacking, because that way you could earn more, stacking from every 7 to 8, etc. When I played about 25 years ago, it seemed quite interesting. Now, when bridge is washed a lot, the question arises whether this forced trump move, if a suit is at the end, is still a good rule, it makes the game more one-sided. But well, I would hardly be a bigger player here, so I won't really start to introduce my own ideas :) By the way, I didn't understand what the difference is between the rating systems proposed by Marten and Tiidu? :)

posted by Meikop In addition, could someone remind me of the scoring: In taking more than 4 tricks, each trick gives 1 point, In giving, each trick gives over 4 and -1 points And in stacking, each remaining card -1 point? So there is a high probability of ending up in the red and whoever is in the red the least wins?
1) taking-dealing. The leader (the one who plays the first card) must/may take more tricks: For 3 players: 6-3-3 For 4 players: 3-2-2-2 Each trick taken more/less than the norm /-1 point depending on the game. The score of all players after each round must add up to zero. In trump games, a trump is made from the first 3 cards. 2) stacking, each remaining card of the losers -1 point, the first to finish gets as many points as the losers lost, the total sum must be zero in each round. 3) Free choice has been played in several ways, mostly 8 games: 7th free play and 8th free play from all games - but the game must be decided from the first 3 cards (making a trump!), and the play here must also be done from 3 cards.

The basis for calculating rating points could still be the result of the game. The average player(s) can be both in the pluses and minuses. Or the rating difference with the table average should also be taken into account here and based on that the expected game score should be calculated. and a rating should be added to those whose game score is better than the expected result and vice versa.

In response to Ants: If the ratings of the players are different, then my system and Marten's system will differ. According to Marten, the average will be zero, according to mine, the average can have both pluses and minuses, depending on the ratings. In response to Dilbert: Apparently, we should decide whether we only evaluate the win/loss, or evaluate how much it happened. Moreover, it seems reasonable to evaluate the amount by which someone was superior to someone else. If the final score is 1, 0, -1, then it probably wouldn't really be reasonable to immediately give -40 to the loser.
