Okay, I don't feel like writing a very long post this time, but I'll give you a character like Sumsar (http://www.vint.ee/kasutajla-profiil/?user=16085). Sumsar came out of the ground on March 18th and won the classic easy 9x9 (light 9) daily sudoku with a time of 46 seconds, beating Verner, who took 2nd place, by 37 seconds, and TiiTu, who had to settle for 3rd place, by a whopping 40 seconds. In addition, he was in the top 3 in 3 other areas: in the medium 6x6 with a time of 19 seconds, in the light special-shaped 6 with a time of 20 seconds, and in the medium special-shaped 6 with a time of 28 seconds. All of these are professional times. So is Sumsar really a genius who just stayed in the closet until now?! No, at least I personally dare to doubt it. But why, he is so to speak born talented, one might say. Here are some objections. Sumsar has solved a total of 2 easy 9s and his average time is 4:53. In easy 6, his average time is 1:33. He has solved the medium special-shaped 6 only once and the same easy variant 2 times, with the average time in the latter being only 1:09. And on top of all that, I did one attempt myself before, namely, I did an easy 9 duel against him! I finished with such a decent 1:46, in the same time Sumsar had managed to complete only 51 squares -- not a trace of Vint's 46-second form (which is even enough to get into the top 10 of Vint's easy 9s of all time). A few more clues... A brother like Siid (http://www.vint.ee/kasutajärvi-profiil/?user=16955). He solved exactly the same Sudoku puzzles that Sumsargi did, no more and no less. Coincidence? Very possible. But then there's the fact that they later dueled against each other, appeared in the game room a short distance apart and left 4 seconds apart. It seemed like they knew each other and this time it was probably not a case of double accounts (as in the case of Rolf and Kohvri). Sumsar was also briefly questioned again and Siid couldn't keep quiet right away and had to speak up quite a few times, it seemed like he was trying to defend Sumsar. Here are some quotes from Sumsar: *When I asked about the duel, he said: "I have a friend playing right now and he's not very good, but you can try with him" *This is what Sumsar said (I assume he said this to Siid about telling me about the cheating): "I won't tell him anything" *I mentioned the 46-second miracle time and that TiiD, who came in 3rd place at the World Championship, had no chance, and the answer was: "I can do 9x9 medium, hard, very hard" (of course, he still hasn't solved any of them) I also asked about that time, whether he could run well: "mkm" The secret? "mkm" My last question was whether Siid's silky hand was in the game, to which there was no answer and half a minute later both were gone. Of course, it's not certain that Siid's silky hand would actually be in the game, but just one possibility. Hopefully, I gave enough information to find the answers and then make a decision. This time too, I hope reading wasn't too boring, but if it was, then what's the point ;]

I don't understand you, Driv4r... Why and for whom are you doing this...

For those who care about this topic. Let's go a little further, I wouldn't want Vint to become a portal like Postman, where 10 solvers solve an easy Sudoku every day in exactly 42 seconds (the fastest possible time) - it doesn't leave a very nice impression. It's also worth noting that cheaters are also treated relatively resolutely on foreign sites. Anyone who cheats will be made public and the result will be canceled. The rankings, however, are very adequate and free of any kind of fools. From personal experience, practicing in such honest places is very tempting and pleasant.

It came! Thank you!

Well, not worth the thanks! :] In response to Vincent yet. TiiT pmst already explained and the main reason is of course to bring so-called geniuses to light. But in addition, all kinds of fraudsters bother me personally and at the same time such research is exciting, so why not. Okay, it takes time, but maybe there will be something useful. And this writing is also quite interesting to me, especially since my writings may also be of interest to some.

Driv4r, you're doing the right thing. I don't think anyone likes cheaters. Double accounts, etc. I don't solve sudokus myself, but there are also such things in card games. They make a double account, try to get on the leaderboard with one name, and when they're on the leaderboard, they leave that name in place for 2 weeks and come play with a different name. I don't understand who they're trying to fool with that, I can only guess... myself. So driv4r, keep up the good work and good luck in exposing cheaters.

I discovered this "genius cheater" story a few days ago, but I was at the Estonian MV in Pärnu and couldn't talk to these two users at length there. But now I talked to both of them (they happen to be my own sons) and when I read the topic starter's post again, I just burst out laughing. Somehow, the thought inevitably came to me that there is an "Average Person" working at the Statistics Office, according to whom everything is decided, products, etc. are made. To make sure that they weren't giving me a hard time, I checked their and my profiles. But when I looked at our family's games in different games, it just got funnier. What other funny connections could I find here... But real life is much simpler. Children simply measure themselves against each other and the computer. And sometimes, during the game, things get childishly confused and out of hand. Especially during school holidays. One boy simply solved his own problem and then went to "help" the other. My own request/proposal is to cancel the Sumsar results of that day (maybe some more, if you think so). The boys have been spoken to and (I guess) they understood this. As for them speaking up for themselves as is expected in some other cheating issue, I have forbidden them from doing so and I ask you not to provoke them to do so. But it makes me a little scared and sad that we tend to use our juicy statements to make judgments, make decisions, ban everyone, call them cheaters and out of the closet, interrogate, track and intercept. In order to eliminate such inconsistencies as one-time "testing", the median and Solkoff coefficients were invented (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tie-breaking_in_Swiss-system_tournaments). For me, the topic is closed.

In this case, the fraud was related to daily Sudokus, and neither the median nor the Solkof coefficient would help here. And as you can see, you can't deny their fraud (or "helping", as you said). They would be honest and admit their actions and apologize, for example, but instead they were arrogant! But yes, hopefully they learned their lesson and choose the honest path sometimes, because even driv4r won't get it right.

Where you were a few days ago will leave most people indifferent, and the fact that this topic is funny to you probably won't interest anyone. But the way your kids compare themselves to each other, with one doing sudoku in 10 minutes and the other stupidly waving it off, is a bit disturbing in the rankings. It's great that you talked to them and it's good that the boys (I guess) understood the matter. I think it's good that someone is keeping an eye on the matter and posting topics, otherwise you wouldn't even know about these jerks if you're currently dating every few weeks. Good luck

I'm interested in the fact that GAP is making fun of this (Raidop, now your chances are ruined), because it's simply ridiculous. Two little kids were having a competition or something with each other for fun and such a fuss from adults. Who's really the kid here? I would be ashamed to write such nonsense instead of driv4r.
