Tournaments Mind Games Olympiad 2025/2026 - Gomoku results

For this year, the stages of the Gomoku Thinking Olympiad are over, so it's time to announce the results.

This year, 388 students from 52 schools played gomoku.

Primary school results
The winner of four stages was Mirell Hanniotti from Tallinn Old Town Education College, who scored 300 points. Second place went to Bruno Smidt from Gustav Adolf Gymnasium, and third place went to Luis Lehto from Tartu City Center School, who scored 279 points.

In the school category, the winner was Jakob Westholmi Gymnasium , represented by 34 students.

Elementary school results
Mihkel Veer from Saku Gymnasium won with 287 points. Mikk Kaarel Õim from Tartu Kesklinna School took second place with the same 287 points, and Tristan Tormi from Tuul Laagri School came in third, with 284 points.

In the school category, Nõo Primary School won.

High school results
Oskar Treffner from Tallinn Real School took first place with 300 points, Ida-Liisa Välli from Tallinn Real School came in second with 290 points, and Carlos Püüding from Saaremaa Gymnasium took third place with 276 points.

In the school category, Saaremaa Gymnasium won decisively.
