It's definitely about VIP users if we want to give out 2000 credits. By the way - we give away 1000 credits to vint.ee users every month anyway. Maybe we're only out for money. Plus, the fact that we organize free competitions for schoolchildren - everything still points only to self-interest.
I didn't see any whining anywhere. Of course it's great to participate in competitions. We've been waiting for this for almost a year, which has been postponed all the time, and now they say that there seems to be no interest, etc. Meikop, believe me, Vindi users don't lack interest. It seems that you have no interest, I had a few questions for you, which of course I didn't get an answer to. I'll ask again; A MONTH PLAYED 1 GAME AND GOT OVER 7500 POINTS. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE HE IS IN 10TH PLACE. You once wrote that if you lower the rank to 1000 and then increase it to 2000, you will earn 4000 points. Or how can I get 7500 points in 1 game or who do I have to play with to earn that much??? This is a question for Meikop? Is it possible to earn that much in one game?? And if so, how?

Free for schoolchildren, very nice, you give out to vint users too, it would be even nicer if you claimed that vint buys these credits through a bank? And then I could raise the price of the credit. Although the topic was the best card player 2016. Why not discuss proposals for holding this tournament. Or wouldn't it be possible to programmatically make a tournament table, regami and everything from scratch. Say that it's not feasible and why, and there won't be any comments until the end of the year.
Resetting ratings in between and other hacks would require a lot of development time and the goal would still be confusing. I looked at the July-August leaderboard and I see that the leader of the leaderboard is not a VIP. This means that non-VIPs also have a good chance of reaching the top. Ok, since I have already worked hard on building this current leaderboard, I could still hold this competition once. As you can see from this same sample table, there has not been a single user who has played 30 games in all game types - so it is good to measure the results of the competitions. If there are 5 qualifiers during the competition, it will be the last such competition. However, if there are 25 interested (those who meet the norm), you can also think about organizing a similar competition next year. If you don't try, you won't get any smarter. I'm not participating myself, so you can get first place with a rating of less than 8000 ;) PS! Since this is a so-called pilot project, the trophy will not be awarded the first time, but the credit will be distributed. If the format is reasonable, we'll make it more official next year.
I can't get answers to my questions, but explain how these points are distributed, all kinds of different offers have been made and what has been decided,,,you are probably the only one who knows how you distribute these points and on what basis and what it ultimately depends on...it's really funny when you start a competition and don't know how the points are calculated...I applaud the decision that there will be no cup...to play fairly, everyone has to start on one stick, whether it's 1400 or zero...
Well, what is really hard to understand here. There are 4 games: Sasku, Tuhat, Bismarck, 4-ne peredkidnoi. Whoever plays at least 30 matches in these four games and whose sum of ratings in these games is the highest wins. You don't have to be a rocket scientist here. A skilled card player can go from 1400 to 1900 in 30 games
Kamby, the rules are all up: http://www.vint.ee/eesti-parim-kaardimangija/. I emphasize that 30 is the minimum. You can also play 300 during these two months if you want.
Does a tournament also count as a game or not? e.g. I would only play 30 tournaments in each game format and no regular games.. will I then have 30 games and can I get on the leaderboard?
No, only full-length games in the game room count. The exception is 4-player perekidnoi where the games played in the tournament are also full games. I will add to the rules.
How has this problem been solved that VIPs have an advantage over regular users, for example in the form of poor internet connection protection? Maybe in these games, poor internet connection protection should also be made for those users who express a desire to take part in this competition. Then at least everyone would be on an equal footing.
