posted by Llepatriinu Still looking, yes :D Actually, I'll summarize this topic for myself now. I don't feel like arguing here anymore. I'll make my last post of wisdom and then continue fighting here, I'll grab some popcorn and watch if necessary. To Kamby - we both have our own understanding of the matter. You have an opinion, I have an opinion. That's what Meikop wanted - opinions, but without fighting and without tearing anyone's throats. We don't have to think exactly the same about the matter, but that doesn't mean we can immediately call someone else all sorts of names if they don't think the same. We can fight, argue, curse and even burn each other's houses down here, but that doesn't really change anything here. It's just a waste of our time. If the fucker's team still wants to change something, they'll change it anyway. I'm in favor of this proposal and Meikop isn't interested in any other arguing anyway.
In that sense, you have to agree with L-Triinu, Meikop does whatever he wants to do with his son, he doesn't really care what we as users think about it. For example, he made Libabismarck and still thinks that everyone wants to play his creation as a game. Since there is no alternative, it will probably continue to be played. I don't care at all whether these ratings are there or not, it doesn't matter anyway, they don't count anywhere, you can't sell them, etc.

Ruudult sounded like a good idea about rating points. It would be nice if you could sell a bit of rating to someone or buy more for your rating. It would be useful for everyone. You buy money from Vint and for that you get rating points from someone so that if your rating is too low you can't play with the players, by selling you can play in a paid tournament again without spending real money yourself. That way, there is interest in increasing your rating points and the circle goes on.

No, a person's financial ability and playing skills must still be kept separate. Otherwise, someone will come and buy their rating to 3000 :D But resetting the rating is an issue. If a person has dropped to 1000 for some reason and no one plays with them anymore, there should be an easy way to reset the rating (bring it back to 1400). Of course, this can't be free fun.

Why pay - you just have to make an account for the woman and play there

If the rating is already 1000, then the rating shouldn't drop below that. (I mean if you don't play for a month) In short, there should be some kind of limit.

but at the same time let the rating drop to zero if it drops, later buy it back to the beginning (1400) or play it back up (you get points in tournaments). Of course it would be good if you could buy the rating back to the beginning from Vint and buy ratings from users (how exactly do you get the goods). There could be offers right away, who sells how much and at what price. Vint would get a commission and everyone would be happy.

I think overregulation makes things worse rather than better. Example; I haven't played for x amount of time, and my rating drops to 1400, I want to play checkers with a square whose rating is ntx 2600. Since he knows the person behind my alias name (the people behind most hard alias names are known, however), he has no interest in playing with me at all, because his rating drops quite a lot in the event of a draw or a loss, while he gets 0 for a win. So I have to start playing with significantly weaker opponents, which I may simply not be in the mood for. Hence the conclusion that I can stop playing on this portal altogether. I don't quite understand what's wrong with the current system? If I don't play, the rating will passively wait for its time, but it shouldn't bother anyone in the slightest.

Rong has understood things very well. When I discovered Vindi about 9 years ago, this portal worked well, you could play checkers and chess, there were no tournaments yet, when other better players started to discover Vindi, it wasn't directly advertised here, information went from user to user, then different checkers and chess sub-genres were added, a little later you could already participate in Vindi tournaments, e.g. the Russian checkers tournament was once a week, there were many participants. You could also play other chess types in tournaments, there were always participants, now things are different, as if there was a regression in Vindi, this is a clear example that the system is overregulated. It's not really clear why Meikop is constantly testing this, he has enough information about how Vindi worked in its heyday and how it works now. Maybe he wants non-vips to disappear from here completely and there will be so-called. into a paid card game portal. The opportunities for card players have grown considerably, except for those who are not VIPs, but that's another topic. Everyone knows what kind of entertainment they are willing to pay for. As mentioned above, if the rating drops below 1000, it is possible to get back to 1400, but it will not be free fun, then the developer's direction is clear, and the ratings must start falling, otherwise the idea will go to waste! From the train's perspective, it is also natural that the better players will simply disappear from the sky. That would be a shame.

That's right (y) That's exactly how it seems to me too.
