Very good event! I won't be attending today, but I'll try to spread the word.

I solved the crossword puzzle and the fish were eel and eel. What kind of fish are they?

You'll probably have to ask a Seto who put all the fish in. Solve a few hundred and then you'll see what horrors about fish come out of them :)

The list of fish from Wikipedia offers real gems. The scallop, the straight-sided cow whitefish, is still missing, but where does that leave it?

Wikipedia is a work that even elementary school students are not allowed to quote.

fish for fish, I've tried four or five crosswords and there's probably only been one without serious errors. As long as a crossword without errors is a rare exception, organizing tournaments is an obvious rush. In addition, many questions have been entered by people who are clearly quite unfamiliar with crosswords. Well, it's still amazing when the answer is Lear, and the question is opera. Ulk and ugai are in the rather authoritative (albeit Soviet-era) Life of Animals as fish, unfortunately "sizalikkale" has also been entered as fish, which is an obvious aps. But such errors can still be found somehow with logic (if you're lucky with the crossword word). However, a lot of some kind of question eh, answer oh (?!) type of question has been entered, to put it mildly, Jurassic. Then there have been incorrect language changes taken over from English (for example, noh-teater instead of no-teatri) And unfortunately, no one who entered has made the difference between notes and steps. So sometimes this crossword can be quite difficult to solve. Especially for someone like me, who is not very open to "new" interpretations of information :)

After writing the previous comment, I participated in the tournament held at 10:00 PM and my simple suggestion would be to vint.ee, please don't call this ... thing you have there a crossword. I have been involved in this field for a while (since the early 1990s as a compiler, also been a judge of the Estonian championships and so on) and using this term offends people interested in crosswords. Both compilers and solvers. Honestly. To err is human and everyone has erred, but there is a limit somewhere. And unfortunately, you have already laid the foundation a little crookedly here. Which, in my shortsightedness, unfortunately, I don't see that a good end result can come from.

That last criticism wasn't constructive. So what was wrong with the tournament crosswords? The quality of the questions doesn't happen overnight. But errors need to be reported and it needs to be understood that since 15,000 questions have already been entered, these errors will appear for several months.
