I don't understand what your point is with deducting the worst results? Otherwise, it's still businesslike talk, and then skiing, motor racing, chess, etc. are still thrown in for comparison. Maybe I'm not that familiar, but do the worst ones still get deducted in the skiing cup stages (because they couldn't take part in some, the grease got wrong) Or in F-1, I swear it doesn't count. If someone can't take part, then it's their own line anyway, and that would increase the number of risk takers, because if I don't make a mistake, it won't count. This deduction would just be humor. But overall, it seems like something more normal could come out of this
posted by rabapalm I've thought of something like that myself. You should find an optimal time for this, my first thought would be a weekend afternoon, later in the summer, okay? If there are 4 tournaments per month, the top 3 could be included, keeping in mind that most people may not have the opportunity to participate in all of them, and in terms of the year, then 52-13 or 38 tournaments. The interim results are monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and at the end of the year, then the cup :). And there is no need for a minimum participation limit if the points system is ok. Figuratively, you can win the cup even if you have participated in less than half of them, but the achievements are good and there is no average :D

There have been seasons in rallying and F1 when the worst were taken away.

..then about the traditions of the series competition. Let's bring in swimming, badminton or any other field, and just in our little Estonia! I have organized several series competitions myself and on the contrary, I don't understand what I don't understand! Not everyone can simply participate in all stages, then they will at least have a chance; those who can participate in all can then count the weaker result(s) as a consolation. You can also say it another way: a certain part of the stages goes into the calculation and that's just how it's been done all the time. All kinds of variants have been tried, but in proportion, approximately, 5 out of 6, 9 out of 12. Then look at the instructions from life itself and not in some distant past or something. . http://lauatennis.ee/web/sites/default/files/2011-2012/IV Halinga valla serieavõistluse juhend.pdf http://www.ujumisklubibriis.ee/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Avavesi2017_seeria_yldjuhend.pdf http://spordikool.johvisport.ee/index.php?id=103293 I don't understand what you mean by deducting the worst results? I found a rich lesbian couple in Latvia who both want to have a baby with me to avoid jealousy. Besides hanging out with them, I didn't have time to play in a thousand tournament series.

Well done Mr. Mets!

Ok; but then there must also be a point system to be considered, not some averages, and those games should also be deducted from the calculation if the player simply does not exist, i.e. if there are 6 tournaments but the player gets a result in 5 (does not participate in one), then it will be deducted without playing, or the one for which he gets a zero, I understood correctly. Otherwise, this injection would lose its meaning.

Otherwise, it's still a matter of business, and then skiing, motor racing, chess, etc. are thrown in for comparison. Maybe I'm not that knowledgeable, but do the worst ones still get deducted from the skiing cup stages (because they suddenly couldn't take part in some, the grease got wrong)

The fact that you've been losing 90 percent of tournaments lately shows that the system isn't working. Your life experiences and vast knowledge of thousands of games should give you insane success. I'll try to do 300 tournaments and become just as smart.
